Scoot Unveils Spider-Man: Brand New Day Themed Aircraft Ahead of its Inaugural Flight to Tokyo (Haneda)

• The themed aircraft will be decked out in decals and special headrest covers within its interior, feature music from Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and more
• The themed experience will be available on two Scoot aircraft, an Airbus A321neo and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner
• Themed flights will be rostered to selected cities within Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand

Singapore – Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), today unveiled its themed aircraft in collaboration with Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, marking another milestone for the airline. The launch event at Singapore Changi Airport was officiated by Mr Calvin Chan, Chief Commercial Officer at Scoot, and was attended by members of the media, content creators, representatives from Sony Pictures as well as other aviation partners.

Guests at the launch event were given an exclusive preview of the themed aircraft, decked out in decals and fitted with specially designed headrest covers within its interior.

The inaugural themed aircraft will operate from Singapore to Tokyo (Haneda) on 30 June 2026. Customers on board the flight will experience an immersive journey that feature music from Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as well as a special welcome message from Spider-Man during boarding. Scoot’s cabin crew, otherwise known as Scootees, will also conduct themed inflight activities to engage customers en route to their destination.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day with Scoot journey begins when customers book their themed flights, labelled on Scoot’s website, mobile app or WeChat Mini Program. The themed flights will be operated by an Airbus A321neo or a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, rostered for flights to selected cities within Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand till 13 September 2026. On the day of departure, customers departing from Singapore can expect to find Spider-Man installations at Scoot’s check-in counters at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1. From themed check-in counter screens to lift decals, customers can look forward to unforgettable photo opportunities from the moment they check in for their flight. In addition, an augmented reality interactive photobooth will be set up at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 Arrival Hall, for members of the public to capture memorable moments with their friendly neighbourhood hero.
