Scania expands its Super portfolio in India with the new G 560 Super 10×4 Mining Tipper

Scania Commercial Vehicles India today unveiled the new G 560 Super 10×4 Mining Tipper at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, bringing Super power to the demanding mining segment and marking the next step in the expansion of Scania’s Super portfolio in India.

With the Super already established in the Indian market, Scania is now bringing more products powered by Super technology, developed to address the specific needs of our customer & different applications. The new G 560 Super 10×4 brings Scania’s advanced Super powertrain to demanding mining and off-highway operations, combining power, robustness and reliability to perform in challenging environments. The Super powertrain also supports improved fuel efficiency and lower CO₂ emissions, helping customers achieve greater efficiency in their operations.

At its core is a 13-litre Super engine delivering 560 hp and 2,800 Nm of torque, paired with Scania’s G33 Opticruise gearbox. Together, the powertrain is engineered to deliver strong performance, smooth drivability and efficiency in demanding operating conditions, while supporting improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions.

Designed for heavy-duty mining applications, the 10×4 configuration features three steerable axles and heavy-duty rear axles, providing the strength and capability required for challenging operations. With a ~32.5 cu.m SAE heap volume and a technical gross vehicle weight of 71 tons, the G 560 Super is designed to support high-volume material movement.

The truck combines a robust chassis with a durable Hardox 450 steel Rock body, built to withstand the rigours of demanding mining operations. The spacious G Series cab, smart displays and real-time vehicle monitoring further enhance driver comfort, safety and ease of operation.

The G 560 Super 10×4 is supported by Scania’s Complete Solution Sales Offering, which goes beyond the vehicle to address the customer’s operation as a whole. The offering brings together Scania Digital Services, tailored service packages and other supporting solutions, helping customers optimize uptime, productivity and operational efficiency while managing the overall cost of ownership.

The unveiling of the G 560 Super 10×4 Mining Tipper marks another step in Scania’s commitment to bringing more products with Super power to India, backed by its Complete Solution Sales Offering.
