As Trilegal enters its next phase of evolution, the firm appoints its first Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Ghosh

Posted on May 13, 2026May 13, 2026 by S Joseph

Trilegal today announced the appointment of Sandeep Ghosh as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking an important milestone in the firm’s evolution as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

As Trilegal continues to grow, and as the legal market evolves in response to changing client expectations, technology, AI, and increasing complexity, the firm is strengthening its leadership structure to support a larger, more integrated, and future-ready organisation.

The appointment of the firm’s first CEO reflects a deliberate step in Trilegal’s evolution and its commitment to building the capabilities, systems, and ways of working needed to support long-term growth and innovation. It also reflects broader changes in how leading legal services organisations are preparing for scale, resilience, and long-term relevance in a rapidly changing market.

Trilegal will continue to be led by its partnership, with the Management Committee and the Board retaining responsibility for the firm’s strategic direction and governance. As CEO, Sandeep will help execute the firm’s strategic priorities, strengthen alignment across practices and offices, build stronger client relationships, and support innovation and growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Nishant Parikh and Sridhar Gorthi, Partners and Members of the Management Committee at Trilegal, said: “Trilegal is at an important point in its journey, and this is the right time to strengthen our institutional capabilities for the next phase of growth.  Sandeep brings exceptional leadership experience, a strong track record of transformation, and the ability to turn strategy into action. His appointment will help accelerate key priorities across the firm while allowing the firm’s leadership to remain focused on clients, market leadership, and Trilegal’s long-term direction.”

Sandeep is a seasoned business leader who brings more than three decades of experience across global banking & financial services, consumer, and advisory sectors, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation, building client-focused businesses, and driving operational excellence across complex, multi-market environments. Most recently, he was the Group Country Manager, India and South Asia at Visa. He has held senior leadership roles at EY, AXA, ANZ and Citi, where he led strategic change, scaled businesses, and strengthened competitive positioning.

On his appointment, Sandeep Ghosh said, “Trilegal has built an exceptional reputation, grounded in deep expertise, strong client trust, and an entrepreneurial culture. The legal services industry is evolving rapidly, shaped by changing client expectations, technology, AI, and new delivery models. Trilegal is well positioned to lead through this change, and I look forward to working with the partners and leadership team to support the firm’s next phase of growth.”
