The Course Director, Dr B.Hygriv Rao, Chief of the Electrophysiology and Pacing Division, KIMS Hospitals, and President of ART Society said that the main objective of this meeting was to highlight the importance of ECG in clinical decision-making of various cardiac disorders.  ECG is a simple and inexpensive tool and physicians and cardiologists need to master accurate reading of ECG and use it to make effective decisions for treatment.
Dr. Abhinay, CEO of KIMS Hospitals Group, inaugurated the symposium. He stated that having electrophysiologists in the cardiology department significantly improved patient care standards. He also mentioned that young physicians and cardiologists attending such symposiums have ample opportunities to learn from the experiences of heart rhythm experts nationwide.
