Jesus Calls Prayer Festival in Tirunelveli

The Jesus Calls Prayer Festival commenced on Saturday the  3rd  May 2025 from 5:30 p.m. at the Francis Xavier Engineering College Grounds in Tirunelveli. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Founder of Jesus Calls Ministries, shared a message of hope and prayed for divine blessings for the participants.

Dr. John Kennedy, warmly welcomed the participants and dignitaries. The worship session was led by Sister Stella Ramola and Mr. Daniel Davidson, creating a spirit-filled atmosphere. Students from Karunya University enriched the evening with special songs and shared their experiences in campus interview placements.  Dr. Paul Dhinakaran delivered a powerful message on “Your sorrow will be turned into Joy” which deeply resonated with the audience. He, along with his wife, Sister Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran, concluded the evening with a special prayer for all participants.

Several dignitaries and leaders attended the event, including Bishop Barnabas, Member of Parliament Dr. Robert Bruce, Dr. Cletus Babu, Chairman of Francis Xavier Engineering College, Dr. Rajkumar Gnanamuthu, Dr. Sagunthala, Pentecostal Synod President Manos, and senior pastors Ratnam Paul, Clarence Maruthia, Rajan Edward, Dr Sam Devanesan along with pastors from various churches. Thousands of people from across India participated and were blessed.

 

Sunday Meetings:

The second day of the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival was held on 4th May with overwhelming participation at the Francis Xavier Engineering College Grounds in Tirunelveli.  Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Founder of Jesus Calls Ministry and Chancellor of Karunya University delivered a message and prayed for all the participants.  The meeting commenced with an opening prayer by Mr. Joshua Stephen, State President of the Mission Department, Synod of Pentecostal Churches. Dr. John Kennedy, the organiser, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and the massive crowd in attendance.  The worship session was led by Mrs. Stella Ramola and Mr. Daniel Davidson, who guided the congregation into deep praise and worship. Adding to the spiritual atmosphere, students from Karunya University performed special songs and a skit that touched the hearts of many.

 

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran then took the stage, delivering a stirring message on how Jesus wipes away our tears and fills us with divine peace and joy. His message resonated deeply with the crowd, many of whom responded with tears and prayers. The session concluded with a powerful prayer for blessings on families, prosperity, peace, and spiritual joy.

 

Palayamcottai MLA Mr. Abdul Wahab, Dr. Rajkumar Gnanamuthu, Dr. Sagunthala, Dr. Cletus Babu, Dr. Sam Devasahayam, as well as senior pastors Manos, Rathinam Paul, and numerous pastors and other church leaders attended the meeting. Thousands gathered to experience the spiritual revival, making it a memorable and impactful evening.  The Jesus Calls Prayer Festival continues to be a beacon of hope and healing, touching lives through prayer and the message of God’s love.
