TSA Students Shine at National Youth Ideathon 2025, One Team Emerges Among Top 8 Winners at IIT Delhi

Students from The Samhita Academy (TSA), Bengaluru delivered an outstanding performance at Youth Ideathon 2025, a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship competition organised by Think Startup in association with CBSE, with IIT Delhi as the Knowledge Partner. Announced in August 2025, the initiative provided a national platform for students to present ideas aligned with Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Design Thinking.

The competition witnessed participation from over 1,00,000 students across India. Following multiple screening stages, including expert video pitch evaluations, 11 teams from The Samhita Academywere shortlisted among the Top 2000 teams nationwide. With sustained mentoring from in-house teachers, the teams progressed through advanced rounds such as The Kid Company selling platform and expert interviews.

As the competition advanced, TSA teams continued to demonstrate excellence, with 4 teams progressing to the Top 1000, 3 teams advancing to the Top 500, and 2 teams securing a place among the Top 100 teams in India after final screenings that included public viewing through YouTube pitch videos.The final round was held at IIT Delhi in December 2025 as a one-day intensive event, where students showcased their ideas through live stalls and pitches. They interacted with peers, academicians, IIT and IIM alumni, and distinguished experts, following which their innovations were evaluated by an expert jury.

At the conclusion of the competition, TSA was selected as the winning team alongside 7 other teams across India and was qualified to receive a grant of ₹45,000 to take the project forward. Ms. K.S. Jyothi, Principal, The Samhita Academy received the Institutional Leadership in Entrepreneurship Award while the teacher-mentor was honoured with the Teacher of Innovation Award (Bronze Category) and the Top 100 Mentor Certificate.
