Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution B. L. The launch marks a significant step in NIRDC’s efforts to simplify business processes for MSMEs through a single-window digital platform. InDApp is designed to enhance transparency, speed, and efficiency in entrepreneur engagement by providing simplified access to government approvals, real-time market data, and nationwide business opportunities. The event was attended by senior NIRDC officials, including Shambhu Singh, IAS (Retd), National Chairman; Dr. Lalit Varma, IAS (Retd), National Vice-Chairman;. Subish P. Vasudev, National Administrator; Dr. K.V. Pradeep Kumar, National Director, Administration & Establishment; and Manoj, Director of the Southern Region.

InDApp integrates digital solutions with on-ground outreach, enabling MSMEs across all sectors and regions to access critical information on industrial opportunities, export promotion schemes, financial subsidies, technology upgrades, and market trends. By functioning as a holistic business support system, the platform assists entrepreneurs throughout their journey—from inception to implementation—while fostering connections with peers, collaborators, and potential partners across the country. It also opens avenues for national and international business opportunities, reinforcing inclusivity and competitiveness within India’s MSME ecosystem.

Addressing the gathering, B. L. Verma underscored the importance of MSMEs in India’s economic landscape, citing their contribution to GDP, exports, and employment generation. He described InDApp as a forward-looking initiative that simplifies access to business opportunities, accelerates growth, and enhances the sector’s competitiveness by making processes and approvals more transparent and efficient.

Developed in collaboration with seven other Union Ministries—including Food Processing; Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying; Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Commerce and Industry; Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Corporate Affairs; and New and Renewable Energy—InDApp ensures entrepreneurs can access sector-specific information and support frameworks through a single digital channel, reducing operational complexity and improving the ease of doing business.

Shambhu Singh highlighted the platform’s transformative potential, noting that InDApp represents a landmark achievement in NIRDC’s mission to promote grassroots industrial development and economic empowerment. He described it as a unique initiative that blends innovation with intelligence, positioning itself at the forefront of India’s journey toward inclusive, secure, and sustainable growth.

The launch of InDApp reaffirms the government’s commitment to strengthening the MSME sector by providing entrepreneurs with the tools, information, and connectivity needed to drive innovation and growth across the country.
