EVCL To Recognize Ranji Players for Their Contribution to Cricket- Praveen Kumar

The euphoria around cricket post India’s win in the T20 World Cup is permeating to every corner in the country. Cricket has taken center stage in our lives with India winning against Pakistan in the current Champions Trophy. In order to bring the focus on one of the biggest contributors to Indian cricket – Ranji trophy, EVCL (Epic Victory Cricket League) is planned with the retired Ranji Players.

 

Like the T20 format, the EVCLtournament will have retired Ranji Players with six franchise owned teams, playing 18 matches across states in the country. The registration of the retired Ranji players will start soon..

 

Praveen Kumar, Indian Cricket Legend,“I am really happy to support EVCL for recognizing the contribution of Ranji players. It is important to give credit to these players as the career span for these players lacks recognition and I am hoping this league will bring an opportunity for them to re-ignite their career and earn. Private leagues have given us… ”

 

Urvashi Sharma, Co-founder, EVCL said, “We are planning to expand the league to woman cricket to provide equivalent opportunities to our women cricketers. We are elated to announce that we will have two seasons every year for the league one for each men and women.”
