Danfoss India launches new Designed &Made-in-India STL Valve Family for Sustainable Cold Chain Sector

•          High-performance STL refrigeration valves, fully designed and manufactured in India for cold storages, especially perishables and the wider cold-chain landscape

Danfoss India recently unveiled their latest innovation in industrial refrigeration, the Made-in-India STL family of valves, at the 8th edition ofREFCOLD India 2025, South Asia’s largest refrigeration and cold-chain event, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from 18–20 September 2025, organized by ISHRAE. The launch was marked by the presence of Mr. Jasmohan Singh, Managing Director, Frick India Ltd., reflecting the industry’s confidence in Danfoss India’s commitment to strengthening the country’s cold-chain ecosystem.

“The STL family marks a leap in refrigeration valve technology, designed and manufactured in India to meet the needs of India’s growing cold-chain industry,” said Mr Madhur Sehgal, Head, Danfoss Climate Solutions Sales, India Region. “With modularity, reliability, and ease of service, STL valves help operators cut downtime, save energy, and extend system life. From vegetables and fruits to dairy, meat, and seafood, the platform delivers consistent performance and long-term value for India’s evolving cold-storage ecosystem.”

The new valves will play a pivotal role in strengthening India’s cold storage infrastructure, particularly for perishables that require stable, efficient, and reliable preservation. From large perishables’ warehouses in North India to multi-commodity facilities across the country, STL brings the assurance of local manufacturing, faster service support, and long-term operational value.
