APM Terminals Pipavav Champions Youth Fitness with Inter-Village Sports Day

APM Terminals Pipavav, one of India’s leading players in port operations, under its flagship project ‘Gyan Jyot Project’ organised the Swami Vivekananda Inter-Village Sports Event.  This annual initiative is part of the company’s commitment to promoting fitness, teamwork, and holistic development among students in its surrounding villages.


The Swami Vivekananda Inter-Village Sports Event provides a platform for students to enhance their physical and mental well-being through friendly competition, developing leadership skills and camaraderie. This year witnessed overwhelming participation of over 450 students from eight schools across villages including Rampara, Bherai, Padar, Thavi, Divalo, Devpara, Kadiyali, and Pipavav Dham. The participants enthusiastically showcased their skills in a range of activities such as Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Long and High Jump, and 100- and 200-meter races.


This initiative reflects APM Terminals Pipavav’s dedication to the development of its surrounding communities. Through holistic and meaningful initiatives, the company continues to enrich the health of the youth and families across its neighbouring villages.
