Man undergoes hip replacement surgery; goes on to play badminton at the the national level after 2 years

In a case of resilience and dedication, a man who was admitted to Aster RV Hospital for Left Hip Osteoarthritis, and underwent a successful surgery, recently played in a national level badminton tournament, without any pain or after-effects of surgery.

Mr. Deepak Juneja was admitted in 2023, following complaints of pain in the left hip and difficulty in walking and daily activities. He was diagnosed with Left Hip Osteoarthritis, and advised surgery by the team at Aster RV Hospital. After anesthetic clearance, he underwent a total left hip Arthroplasty. Post surgery, there were no complications and the patient made a full recovery.

Recently, Mr. Juneja participated in a national level tournament, where he played until the quarter finals. This underscores not only the dedication of him, but also the skillful team at Aster and their commitment to ensuring the patient’s complete recovery post the surgery.
